International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare

Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Jointly organised by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) and BMJ, this international forum is a biannual gathering of healthcare professionals in quality improvement and patient safety. The International Forum supports and energises the movement for healthcare improvement and connects healthcare leaders and practitioners worldwide to improve outcomes for patients and communities.
The 2019 theme is ‘Transforming Quality for Tomorrow’. The forum will be discussed under 5 programme streams:
- Building Capability and Leadership
- Person and Family-Centred Care
- Population and Public Health
- Quality, Cost, Value
The forum will be looking at how through innovative projects, collaborative working and a passion for change we can transform outcomes for patients and their communities. The programme will explore the biggest issues healthcare is facing today and prepare for the ones to anticipate tomorrow.
