27 January 2016 – Vietnam

The provincial Red Cross in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society organised a workshop on implementation of the project of strengthening the resilience in areas prone to natural hazards in central Viet Nam.

The US$2.5-million project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development through its five partners, the American Red Cross, Save the Children, Plan International and Catholic Relief Services and HelpAge International.

Attending the conference, all delegates were presented with an overview of the project, the role and capacity of the partners and detailed plans to implement the project.
