Statement of Civil Society, Trade Unions, Migrants, and Parliamentarians in Southeast Asia to the 22nd Senior Officials Meeting of the ASCC and the 17th ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council Meeting
On 6 March 2017, the Network for Transformative Social Protection Working Group on Social ASEAN submitted statement to the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council through the Secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Philippines, Judy Taguiwalo. It was also given to the Philippine representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights while networks in ASEAN countries submitted it to their respective Ministries
The statement was endorsed by a total of 105 national and regional organisations, and 11 individuals; 84 of the organisations are based in Southeast Asia/Asia.
