Learning from others was the theme of an exchange visit held in Banteay Meanchey province on 8 August 2013. The visit to older people’s associations (OPAs) in Kouk Trach village and Ta Bao village was organised by HelpAge International – Cambodia.
OPAs and OPA federation from Banan, Moung Ruessei and Aek Phnum districts heard about the practices of the local OPAs in Kouk Trach and Taboa. The resulting discussion focused on the challenges the OPAs had faced and the solutions for responding to those issues.
The two commune councils involved also expressed thanks to the OPAs and their continued support for the activities the OPAs are implementing.
