Expert Group Meeting on the Development of Older People’s Association

Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), in collaboration with Yayasan Emong Lansia and HelpAge International will conduct an Expert Group Meeting on the Development of Older People’s Association. The meeting is intended to strengthen Indonesia’s national social protection policy and to support the drafting process of the 2015-2019 National Action Plan for Older People.

The meeting will cover the following topics:

  • Older People’s Policy Direction in the National Midterm Development Plan 2015-2019
  • Long-Term Care Policy and Services for the Elderly in East Asia, Options for Indonesia to Consider
  • Older People’s-Related Policy Analysis in Indonesia
  • National Older People’s Movement and Its Network
  • CSOs & OPAs in Indonesia
  • Options for Indonesia
  • Further Plans and Steps

The HelpAge Intergenerational Self-Help Club model which is successfully implemented in Vietnam will be also shared.
