Sharing of Lessons Learned from Typhoon Haiyan

The experience gained by HelpAge International and Coaltion of Services of the Elderly in the Typhoon Haiyan response project is an opportunity to share good practices to the HelpAge network as well as to key external agencies including government departments and humanitarian organizations. With this aim a ‘Sharing of Lessons Learned’ meeting will be held at 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on 22 January 2016 at EDSA Shangri-la Manila, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
Haiyan lessons learned sharing is expected to be attended by Senior Government officials, Ambassadors and key Embassy officials, Senior Government officials, key officials from the ASEAN secretariat, Humanitarian Agencies and networks such as Philippine International Non- Government Organizations Network (PINGON), Disaster Risk Reduction network, United Nations agencies, Confederation of Older Person Associations of the Philippines (COPAP), and other Older People Organizations.
