Cyclone Nargis struck Myanmar’s Ayeyarwady Delta on May-2-3, 2008 causing widespread destruction. Of the 2.4 million people affected by the Cyclone, 200,000 were 55 years old or older at the time.
HelpAge International moved quickly to set up Mobile Medical Units (MMU) to provide regular, accessible and free health care to some of the most vulnerable communities in the Delta.
The video, supported by DFID, shows one of these Medical Units in action, through the words of their protagonists.
