Community-Driven Development training course

Community-driven development (CDD) is an approach that gives control over planning decisions and investment resources for local development projects to community groups.

HelpAge’s Community-Driven Development course is a one-week capacity building programme with field exposure visits to foster sustainable community-driven development. This training is an opportunity for development practitioners, change agents and community members to understand various approaches to community-driven development and to develop the proper tools and abilities to put the knowledge into practice.

The course is offered by HelpAge International, Vietnam country office (HAIV) with over 10 years experience in community-driven development and capacity building of development practitioners at national and international levels.

This expertise will be shared and transferred to participants using participatory approach, case studies and group focused learning, including field visits to demonstrate how the concepts are applied to achieve sustainable results.
