A country of old people: Dealing with ageing societies in Asia

On 23 February, the Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Thailand (FCCT) held a panel discussion to explore the options for Thailand and other countries facing the tectonic demographic shift and turning to ageing society.

Along with representatives from Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) and National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), Mr Eduardo Klien, HelpAge Regional Director were invited to present different ageing scenario in the region and implications of this shift that will affect all countries in the region.
